Schedule: * 8-hour work shift * Overtime available * Weekend availability Experience: * Electrician with 5 years (preferred) Work Location: * Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in domestic environments * Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams. * Troubleshoot electrical problems. * Inspect electrical systems for safety compliance. * Work independently with a customer focused approach. * Own tools and vehicle required. Qualifications: * Fully qualified electrician. * 5+ years of experience as an electrician (preferable). * Excellent knowledge of electrical theory and practices. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. It is a very exciting time for the renewable energy industry, with the UK committed to reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. We are experiencing major growth in the industry and are looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our team based in Herefordshire on a full-time basis to work across Commercial, Domestic and Industrial in Renewable Technology Key Accountabilities: - System Solutions. To work with the Operations and Technical team to provide advice on the optimum system configuration and design. - Renewable Energy Installations. Including Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal, EV Charger, Solar PV and Battery System and electrical infrastructure to support the systems. - Service & Maintenance. Providing excellent customer service through maintenance and servicing existing systems - Exceptional Customer Service. Key Requirements: System Solutions To develop and design renewable energy systems for clients. This will require consultation visits to the prospects premises to provide advice and agree the best solution design for the commercial or domestic property. Renewable Energy Installations Working directly with domestic and commercial clients to install renewable energy systems. Caplor specialises in Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps, Battery Storage and EV charging systems. The role will have specific responsibility for providing exceptionally high standards of electrical installation. Service and Maintenance To provide excellent service support for existing and new clients. Specifically, this will require the ability to provide full diagnostics and problem solving, service maintenance and to support and train clients to get the optimum performance from their system. Electrical Trainee/Apprentice

We welcome candidates with no prior experience as well as those with some training. We are looking for an Electrical Trainee/Apprentice to join our electrical service and maintenance team. You will gain experience in the electrical installation trade, carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance to Treadaway Electrical's varied portfolio of clients throughout the region. Role Profile As an Electrical Trainee/Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training to support the team in providing first-class service to our customers. You will assist in carrying out electrical repairs and installations in accordance with the latest regulations. Under supervision, you'll undertake day-to-day repairs, initial and periodic inspection, and testing of installations, including minor remedial repairs. Our apprenticeship roles offer a maximum four-and-a-half-year fixed-term contract, during which time you will undertake a Level 3 Installation Electrician and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship. Key Responsibilities - Complete the required academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship as provided by Treadaway Electrical Services nominated training provider. - Complete all relevant coursework on time and to a high standard. - Gain knowledge and understanding of all operational best practices through training and observing engineers. - Communicate with internal and external customers at a professional level. - Gain hands-on operational experience and achieve a satisfactory level as an electrician, including preparing, fixing, and installing electrical systems, installing electrical components and accessories, distribution panels, and control systems. - Diagnose and correct electrical faults, and perform inspection and testing. - Accurately fill in and complete reports required by management. - Ensure that all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health and Safety at Work Act. Skills and Experience - Enthusiasm for the role and Treadaway Electrical Services. - Willingness to learn and grow with a positive attitude to working within a busy maintenance team. - Desire to deliver high-quality work with a customer-focused and right-first-time attitude. - Willingness to study to gain a qualification and be keen to learn new skills to progress your career. - Ability to use initiative, work independently, and be a good team player. - Good problem-solving skills. - Responsible and enthusiastic attitude. - Good verbal communication skills. - Interest in using electronic media and associated IT systems. - Flexible and organised approach to work. - GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science, Grade C / 4 or above. - Ability to go the extra mile and exceed expectations. - Not afraid of working at heights or in cramped spaces. - Self-motivated and resilient.
